Didi Maa: A Divine Figure Serving Humanity

Param Pujya Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara Ji has been serving the humanity for more than last two decades. She is one of the most prominent and most loved spiritualists of the ancient land, which is called India. She is not only a spiritual leader but also a great social reformer who have changed the lives of thousands of people. Didi Maa wants no more orphans or destitute women in this world that is why she originated the unique concept of ‘Vatsalya Gram’. She always says a shlok of the Holy Book Bhagwatgita and that is “Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani", which means "You have a right to perform your prescribed action, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results your activities, and never be associated to not doing your duty".

Vatsalya Gram has given an opportunity to the orphans (this word is never heard in the premises of Vatsalya Gram), destitute women and old ladies to live in a family made with great love and affection.  Just imagine the condition of a destitute woman or an orphan! Both are deemed burden, one by her family and other by the society. But Vatsalya Gram is a place that not only welcomes such people but also give a reason to lead a happy and beautiful life. Here a child gets mother, grandmother and aunty who take care for almost everything and nobody can consider himself or herself an offer as he or she grow up.

Didi Maa also says that life is a gift by God to all creatures and they must live it in a dignified way. She is doing a lot of things to improve the condition of women in society. According to her, a self-dependent woman can make a better family and better society. Pujya Didi Maa also supports the thought of giving a respectable share to women in politics and administration. India has a great history where women were no less than a man. Who can forget Gargi, Shakuntala, Sarojini Naidu, Lakshmi Bai, Indira Gandhi and others?

With the divine support of Param Pujya Didi Maa, the projects of Vatsalya Gram have brought broad smiles on thousands of the faces. This institution is giving its contribution to the society to make it better, in the same way to make this world a better place to live. It is our duty too to support this cause, which can change lives of the underprivileged people. When we help such people, God Almighty smiles and bless us with His kindness and mercy.
