Param Pujya Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara is well known for her inspiring words which tend to enlighten the mind, soul and thoughts of her million followers. In addition to her preaching, Didi Maa is continuously working for the betterment of society and has taken various positive initiatives to bring about a change in the current portfolio of our society. Her patriotic nature, spiritual soul and enlightening thoughts serve as a wonderful, source of stimulation, inspiration and motivation. At present she is working upon the establishment of her maternal love village named as Vatsalyagram.

Vatsalyagram is an innovative approach which is expected to enkindle the lives of unfortunate children and widows. Today Vatsalyagram embraces lots of branches around the world which are working in a single direction aimed at the betterment of lives of women and children. Param Pujya Didi Maa these days is working for the betterment of tribal areas of country with her NGO programme Vatsalyagram. Vatsalya Ganga Abhiyan is the newly launched additional programme in the series which looks forward at the improvement of tribal condition of the country.

Vatsalyagram is a ground-breaking approach towards making a change in the lives of destitute women which are often ignored and ill-treated by our society. It works for the interests of underprivileged children who are left abandoned by the circumstances and are forced to live their life in odd situations. To reunite such people with the hope of a better life, re-linkage of relationships is done by the organization. Instead of making women and children live alone, a Vatsalya family is created. Each family consists of a loving mother, two boys, five girls, an aunt (masi) and a caring grandmother (nani). The ties within the whole family are based upon mutual love and understanding. This provides a healthy environment to the whole family to sustain their living and refills their life with joy and hope.

Each family celebrates the culture, enjoy the festivals and under the enlightening guidance of Pujya Didi Maa, children grow into the responsible citizens. However, there are various children which are taken care off since when they were infants. In the absence of breast milk and to provide them with the best possible background, cow’s milk is considered as the best substitute. A gaushala is provided to ensure the healthy sustenance.

Didi Maa has also ensured that proper fostering and education is provided to the children right from when they are kids. This motive is being carried forward by the education. Samvid international school is recognized by central board of secondary education and provides proper upbringing.
Along with that, proper medical facility is also provided to deal with in adverse situations. Thus every necessary step is been taken by Param Pujya Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara to ensure a happier life of widow women and underprivileged children. A change been dreamt by Didi Maa is on the way of fulfilment!

Didi Maa: A Divine Figure Serving Humanity

Param Pujya Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhara Ji has been serving the humanity for more than last two decades. She is one of the most prominent and most loved spiritualists of the ancient land, which is called India. She is not only a spiritual leader but also a great social reformer who have changed the lives of thousands of people. Didi Maa wants no more orphans or destitute women in this world that is why she originated the unique concept of ‘Vatsalya Gram’. She always says a shlok of the Holy Book Bhagwatgita and that is “Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana, Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani", which means "You have a right to perform your prescribed action, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results your activities, and never be associated to not doing your duty".

Vatsalya Gram has given an opportunity to the orphans (this word is never heard in the premises of Vatsalya Gram), destitute women and old ladies to live in a family made with great love and affection.  Just imagine the condition of a destitute woman or an orphan! Both are deemed burden, one by her family and other by the society. But Vatsalya Gram is a place that not only welcomes such people but also give a reason to lead a happy and beautiful life. Here a child gets mother, grandmother and aunty who take care for almost everything and nobody can consider himself or herself an offer as he or she grow up.

Didi Maa also says that life is a gift by God to all creatures and they must live it in a dignified way. She is doing a lot of things to improve the condition of women in society. According to her, a self-dependent woman can make a better family and better society. Pujya Didi Maa also supports the thought of giving a respectable share to women in politics and administration. India has a great history where women were no less than a man. Who can forget Gargi, Shakuntala, Sarojini Naidu, Lakshmi Bai, Indira Gandhi and others?

With the divine support of Param Pujya Didi Maa, the projects of Vatsalya Gram have brought broad smiles on thousands of the faces. This institution is giving its contribution to the society to make it better, in the same way to make this world a better place to live. It is our duty too to support this cause, which can change lives of the underprivileged people. When we help such people, God Almighty smiles and bless us with His kindness and mercy.
